The alternating current from the station is converted to direct current (DC) by the car's <strong>on-board charger<\/strong> and transferred to the battery. So the real charging speed depends not only on the station's power but also on the maximum AC charging power the car supports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For example, if a car that supports a maximum of 11 kW AC is connected to a 22 kW AC charger, the car will charge at approximately <strong>11 kW<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"ac-sarjin-avantajlari\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advantages of AC Charging<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Compared with DC fast charging stations, AC charging systems are more economical, easier to install and very convenient for daily use.
